The team of artists and writers collaborating on the effort include Eisner Award winning writer Paul Jenkins (Wolverine: Origins, Batman, Hulk, Spider-Man), pencil and inks by Talent Caldwell (Superman, X-Men, G.I. Joe), and coloring by Paul Mounts (Avengers, Ultimate X-Men, Wolverine, and Thor).
“This team we’ve assembled is our commitment to put out a comic book of the highest quality that will have a compelling story and amazing art,” said John Macaluso, Wizard World CEO. “Our creative team is hard at work creating a book that will appeal to a wide new audience, and will also interest long-time comic fans.”

NICE & WOW!
Broken Road Production’sTodd Garner has teamed up with Adam Herz and Joshua Shader of Terra Firma Films to produce an adaptation ofSullivan’s Sluggers, a horror baseball graphic novel by Mark Andrew Smith and James Stokoe. Tom and Tim Mullen have been tapped to write the script.
Described by Smith as a "Major League meets Zombieland and then some,” Sluggers follows a has-been baseball manager Casey Sullivan and his dysfunctional minor league Sluggers who get an invitation to play a small venue game. Soon enough, they find themselves fighting for their lives against a town of shape-shifting monsters on a feeding frenzy and the has-beens and wannabes must use long-forgotten skills of teamwork to get out alive.
The creators are selling the 200-page graphic novel via a fundraising campaign on Kickstarter.com, raising six times their pledge goal in the first five days.
Garner, Herz, and Shader, who liked the graphic novel’s mix of terror and laughs and descibe it as an homage to the works of Sam Raimi and Goerge Romero, will be producing with Oric Scott De Las Casas and Sean Robins.
So Shane forgot to load his gun?...Psh

REALLY!!?? Paramount Pictures has decided to move the release date of G.I. Joe: Retaliation from June 29th of this year to March 29th 2013!!! WHY! Because they want to convert / redo the entire film in 3D! REALLY! People are still into this 3D pigshit!? What really happen is someone watch the early screening and made a comment along the lines of "THIS SUCKS!" or "IT'S WORST THAN BATTLESHIP!"
and instead of dealing with it head on they just decided to remove the movie completely till NEXT YEAR! The movie was suppose to come out NEXT MONTH! REALLY! Just sucks for the fact I actually wanted to see this and now I have to wait another year to make silly outburst in public yelling "COBRA!"

Cast Yourself in Carbonite with the Carbon-Freeze Me Experience During Star Wars Weekends 2012 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
You ever wonder what it would be like to be hunted down by a ruthless bounty hunter and then captured to become a frozen carbonite wall decoration. Well wonder no more cause for a price of $100 you can get a 8 inch action pose figure of yourself, during Star Wars Weekend at Disney Hollywood Orlando Florida. Without the headache of a bounty hunter aiming for your head. Don't know about you guys and gals but ROAD TRIP to Disney this month!
Via Disney Blog: As a child, one of the most memorable scenes that I vividly remember from Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back is when Captain Han Solo is frozen in carbonite on Darth Vader’s orders. I think I remember it because after seeing the movie, my parents bought me Boba Fett’s ship that contained a miniature version of Han Solo in carbonite. Coming this year to Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, I will have the opportunity to relive that scene with the Carbon-Freeze Me experience. This new experience was created especially for Disney Parks, and is part of our “D-Tech Me” line that uses technology to take personalization to a whole new level (advance reservations are required.) Using state-of-the-art imaging technology, this experience casts your likeness as a three-dimensional, eight-inch figurine. At the Carbon-Freezing Chamber (located adjacent to The American Idol Experience), several cameras will capture multiple angles of your face. The images are then reconstructed in a computer for processing, and in approximately four weeks, the completed figurine is shipped directly to your house. I had my image captured during early tests for this experience, and it was surreal to see a digital version of my head. Each carbonite figurine is $99.95 (plus shipping). You can order additional figurines using the same image scan for $74.95 each. The replica figurine can be hung on a wall, just like the gangster Jabba the Hutt did in Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi (I plan on doing the same thing when I receive mine). Guests also receive a light-up wristband.
